Chokeberry Cold Bowl with Apple

The perfect chokeberry cold bowl with apple recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 50 g Aronia berries, dried or fresh
  • 50 g Apple
  • 20 g Ginger
  • 1 tsp Bio lemon zest
  • 0,1 l Lemon juice
  • 0,1 l Fruit juice, red
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Food starch
  • 1 Msp Aniseed spice
  • 1 l Water

Aronia cold bowl:

  1. Partially water the berries, partly mash them, partly leave them whole, put them together with the diced apple and ginger pieces and the lemon zest in a mixing container. Mix the cornstarch with a little cold water, add the aniseed spice, lemon juice and fruit juice. Stir in the honey and fill up with the water.

Overcooking:

  1. Now briefly heat the liquid in a saucepan and let it cool down, the liquid binds. Stir well and finally put everything in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Of course, ice cubes can also be used to accelerate the cooling process.
