Chokeberry Cold Bowl with Apple
The perfect chokeberry cold bowl with apple recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 50 g Aronia berries, dried or fresh
- 50 g Apple
- 20 g Ginger
- 1 tsp Bio lemon zest
- 0,1 l Lemon juice
- 0,1 l Fruit juice, red
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Food starch
- 1 Msp Aniseed spice
- 1 l Water
Aronia cold bowl:
- Partially water the berries, partly mash them, partly leave them whole, put them together with the diced apple and ginger pieces and the lemon zest in a mixing container. Mix the cornstarch with a little cold water, add the aniseed spice, lemon juice and fruit juice. Stir in the honey and fill up with the water.
Overcooking:
- Now briefly heat the liquid in a saucepan and let it cool down, the liquid binds. Stir well and finally put everything in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Of course, ice cubes can also be used to accelerate the cooling process.
Use:
- As a refreshment in summer.
