Chokeberry jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1.2 kg aronia berries (chokeberries)
  • 1 kg gelling sugar 1:1
  • 5 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Boil the chokeberries with 1 cup of water and vanilla sugar for 20 minutes. Let cool slightly and then blend with a hand blender. Boil with gelling sugar and lemon juice for 4 minutes until bubbling, then pour into jars.
