Chop with Caramelized Beer Sauce
The perfect chop with caramelized beer sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Chop
- 3 Red Onions
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 250 ml Broth
- 150 ml Dark beer
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oil
- Wash the chops, pat dry, season with salt and pepper, fry on both sides in a pan with hot oil, remove and keep warm.
- Peel the onions, cut in half and cut into thin slices and fry them in the chop fat.
- Now add the brown sugar and caramelize the onions, pour in the stock and beer and simmer for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Put the chops in the sauce and let it get hot.
- Put on a plate, pour the onion sauce over it and serve with potatoes and vegetables of your choice – we had peas with it
