Chopped bean soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg beans, green
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 cans of tomatoes, peeled
  • 2 onions
  • 250 g bacon, streaky
  • 3 Mett sausages
  • 2 tsp broth, instant
  • salt and pepper
  • savory, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Sauté the onions and bacon in a little oil until translucent. Add the washed and diced beans and the diced potatoes to the onions and bacon. Now dice the peeled canned tomatoes and toss with tomato juice. Add the sausages and just cover with water. Season with stock and salt, then simmer for about 1-1.5 hours. Season with salt, pepper, and savory (oregano and garlic are also fine—it’s a matter of taste).
