Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 400 g white cabbage
  • 1 large carrot(s)
  • 50 ml vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds, ground
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 80 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 large egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

Coleslaw

Cut the white cabbage into fine strips, peel and grate the carrot. Bring the vinegar, sugar, mustard powder, and salt to a boil, then stir in the flour. Stir in the cream and butter and remove from the heat. Stir in the egg and continue stirring until the mixture thickens. Then combine with the white cabbage and carrot. Let stand for at least 3 hours.
