Made from marinated meat, juicy and spicy, Ukrainian cuisine

Cut the chicken breast into thin strips, slightly finer than for schnitzel. Chop the onions in a food processor or grate them on a coarse grater. In a bowl, combine the meat with the onions, crushed garlic, mayonnaise, herbs, and spices. Cover the meat and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Then crack the eggs into the mixture and add the flour, mix well, and let stand for another 15 minutes. In a hot pan with oil, portion out the meat mixture with a tablespoon and fry the chopped steaks on both sides. Depending on the size of the spoon, you will make about 15-20 small steaks. In Ukraine, such minced steaks are also made with pork, beef, or fish. Note: Ukrainian mayonnaise is somewhat more acidic and spicier than the mayonnaise commonly found here. This is one of the reasons why mayonnaise is very often used in Ukrainian cuisine, not only for salads, but also for marinating or baking meat (see recipes in my profile).
