Christmas Cookies: Nougat Shortbread Cookies

- 50 g Powdered sugar
- 100 g Soft butter
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 piece Egg
- 150 g Flour
- 1 tbsp Cocoa powder
- 100 g Firm nougat
- 25 g White chocolate, finely grated
- Mix the powdered sugar, butter, salt, vanilla sugar and egg with a hand mixer until creamy. Mix the flour and cocoa powder and stir in briefly. Pour the dough into a piping bag (with a large star nozzle) and squirt approx.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees (or convection oven 175 degrees) on the middle rack for about 12 minutes. Let cool on a cake rack. Melt the nougat in a water bath. Dip the biscuits with the tips in the liquid chocolate, wipe them off and place on baking paper. Sprinkle with the white chocolate shavings and let dry.
