Christmas Cookies with Brittle

The perfect christmas cookies with brittle recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Melted and cooled butter
  • 65 g Raw cane sugar
  • 100 g Hazelnut brittle
  • 1 Pc. Egg
  • 1 Pc. Egg yolk
  • 200 g Spelled flour type 630
  • 1 pinch Salt
  1. Mix the sugar, egg, egg yolk, salt and melted butter until frothy. Briefly knead in the flour and brittle.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface a little less than 1 cm thick and cut out any shapes. Bake on the middle shelf in the preheated oven at 175 degrees for about 10 – 12 minutes. Then let it cool down and dust with powdered sugar.
