Christmas Jam
The perfect christmas jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 piece Ginger
- 400 ml Apple juice
- 200 ml Black currant juice
- 300 ml Water
- 1 bag Mulled wine spice
- 8 Kumquats, dwarf oranges
- 1 Star anise
- 1 Kg Preserving sugar 1: 1
- Peel the ginger (about the size of a walnut), cut into pieces, bring to the boil with all the juice and the water, along with the star anise Bring the juice and the preserving sugar to the boil over high heat, stirring constantly, cook for about 4 minutes … bubbly, make a jelly sample on a small plate. Immediately pour into glasses rinsed with hot water. Close tightly. and place on the lid for about 5 minutes, then turn over and let cool down.
