Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 heads of kale
  • 240 ml chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 240 ml cream
  • 1 pinch(s) of cane sugar
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Trim the kale, separate the leaves, remove and trim the stem ends, rinse under cold water, and drain well. Place in a large pan and add the chicken stock. Simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes, until the liquid has almost completely evaporated. Stir in the butter and cook for another 2 minutes. Pour in the cream, sugar, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pan. Serve very hot.
