Christmas Stollen Muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g marzipan – raw mass
  • 50 g almonds, chopped
  • 50 g candied orange peel
  • 50 g raisins
  • 325 g flour
  • 175 g butter, soft
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp spice mix (Christmas Stollen spice)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 3 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Coarsely grate the marzipan. Finely chop the candied orange peel. Wash the raisins, drain well, and pat dry. Dust with 1 teaspoon of flour. Cream together the butter, marzipan, sugar, vanilla sugar, and Christmas Stollen spice until creamy. Stir in the eggs one at a time. Mix the flour with the baking powder and briefly stir in alternately with the milk. Fold in the candied orange peel, chopped almonds, and raisins. Pour the batter into the holes of a muffin tin. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (150°C fan-assisted oven) for about 30 minutes. Let the muffins cool slightly, then remove them from the muffin tin. Dust generously with powdered sugar.
