- 2 pts. puff pastry, not frozen
- 2 tbsp pesto
- 2 slice(s) salami and/or ham
- 1 egg(s)

Cut a sheet of puff pastry into the shape of a Christmas tree. Spread it with pesto. Place salami and/or ham in the center of the tree, forming a continuous trunk. Then cut the second sheet of puff pastry into the shape of a Christmas tree and place it over the pesto-covered tree. Now make 3 cm slits on the right and left sides of the filled tree, up to just before the tip, and twist each one individually. Place the Christmas tree on a baking sheet and brush with egg. Then bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes.
