Baked herb potatoes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 potatoes (preferably organic)
  • 10 g butter
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • Mixed herbs
  • Spice(s), dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Delicious side dish to all braised dishes

Wash (don’t peel) the potatoes, cut them lengthwise, and place them on a baking sheet with the curved side down. Sprinkle the cut surfaces with herbs. Use as many different ones as possible. Season one potato with thyme, one with sage, one with paprika, one with caraway, and one with oregano. Season with salt and pepper, and place a knob of butter on each potato. Bake in the oven at 220 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes. Also delicious with sour cream or herb curd.
