Cinnamon roll cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 120 ml water, lukewarm
  • 120 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 60 g margarine
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 480 g flour
  • 40 g sugar mixed with 2 tsp cinnamon
  • Butter, melted as needed
  • 120 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Mix all the dough ingredients together to form a nice, smooth dough that should easily come away from the bowl. Then keep it warm and let it rise until doubled in size. After it has risen, roll out the dough (approx. 76 x 46 cm). Brush with butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Roll out the dough from the wider side and cut approximately 4 cm wide pieces from the roll. Place these pieces next to each other in a greased springform pan and bake at 175°C for 25-30 minutes. While the cake is still hot, glaze it with powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, and milk.
