Ingredients for 18 servings:
- 200 g flour
- 50 g cornstarch
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 150 g walnuts, chopped
- 150 g butter, soft
- 150 g yogurt
- 120 g sugar
- 3 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg(s)
- 50 g powdered sugar
- Lemon juice, a dashes
- Gingerbread (cinnamon stars)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Combine the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder, and walnuts. Beat the egg with the butter, yogurt, and sugar until fluffy, then add the flour mixture and whisk to combine. Line a muffin tin with paper baking cups and fill halfway with the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20-25 minutes. Let the muffins cool thoroughly. Combine the powdered sugar and lemon juice, then brush the cinnamon stars with it and place them on top of the muffins.
