- 1 bag(s) of orange(s) powder or lemon powder (e.g. Quench)
- 200 ml sour cream
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 bags of cream stiffener
- 200 ml sweet cream
- 1 cake base (Viennese base or sponge cake), homemade or purchased
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Combine the sachet of orange powder or lemon powder and 200 ml of sour cream in a mixing bowl and briefly blend with a mixer. Add the sugar and the two sachets of cream stabilizer and blend again. Whip the cup of sweet cream separately and gently stir in with a spoon (you may also want to add cream stabilizer to the sweet cream). Spread the mixture over the cake base and refrigerate. Tip: I sometimes add mandarin oranges to the cream mixture at the end for an even fruitier flavor.
