Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g minced meat
  • 150 g sausage (raw bratwurst)
  • 1 small pork fillet(s)
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ jar stock (mushroom or meat stock)
  • 1 jar flour
  • 200 g mushrooms, preferably brown
  • 1 pt. dough (pizza dough)
  • 1 pc. puff pastry
  • 1 jar white wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

French meat pie

Line a 28cm pizza pan with the pizza dough. Dice the pork fillet and mix with the ground beef and sausage. Season with pepper, salt, and fresh herbs, if desired. Stir in the eggs and remaining ingredients. Then cover with puff pastry. Leave a chimney of aluminum foil in the center of the puff pastry, brush the dough with egg, and decorate as desired. Prick several times with a fork and bake at 200°C for about 50 minutes. Perfect for a buffet or as a snack for guests. Very filling with a Riesling.
