Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Quiche Lorraine style – quick to make and irresistibly good
Grease a 26-28 cm springform pan and line the bottom and sides with two of the thawed puff pastry sheets. Finely grate the cheese, cut the cooked ham and smoked ham (or dried meat) into small cubes, and press the garlic clove through the pan. Mix the cheese, eggs, cream, crème fraîche, garlic, and spices thoroughly with a hand mixer until creamy. Use only a small amount of salt. Carefully fold in the diced cooked ham and smoked ham and pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 45-55 minutes, then let it rest for 5 minutes, remove from the pan, and serve. As a main course, we like to serve it with a green salad and baguette. As a starter, this dish serves 8 people, as it is very filling.
