Cloud Egg

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Egg spice mix, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Separate the eggs and keep the yolks separate. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until very stiff. Then halve the egg white mixture and spoon each one onto a prepared baking sheet, forming two clouds. Use the spoon to make an indentation in the center of each cloud. Bake the egg whites in the hot oven for about 5-10 minutes. Keep an eye on the time depending on your preference and the degree of browning. Then remove the egg whites. Place one egg yolk in each indentation and bake in the oven for another 3 minutes. Divide between plates and season with egg seasoning.
