Cod in Bed of Leeks
The perfect cod in bed of leeks recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 piece Cod fillet
- 0,5 El Flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 1 piece Carrot
- 0,25 piece Leek
- 50 ml Vegetable broth
- 50 ml White wine dry
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Rapeseed oil
- Wash and dry the fish. Peel the carrot and cut into thin slices. Cut the leek into thin rings.
- Heat the butter in a saucepan and sauté the carrot slices in it for 5 minutes. Pour the vegetable stock and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the leek, pour in the wine and simmer everything together in an open pot for 5 minutes.
- Dust the fish with flour, salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fish vigorously for 1 minute on each side. Turn off the stove and let the fish simmer for another 2 minutes in the remaining heat.
- Season the leek vegetables with salt, pepper and lemon juice and serve. Take the fish out of the pan and place on the bed of leeks.
