Ingredients

  • 800 g Cod fillet
  • 2 piece Golden Delicious
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 4 tbsp Mustard medium hot
  • 1 tbsp Yellow curry powder
  • 0,125 liter Sour cream 30% fat
  • 1 tsp Food starch
  • 2 tbsp Flaked almonds
  • 0,25 liter Water
  • Sea salt from the mill
  • Pepper from the grinder

Instructions

  • Cut the cod fillet into cubes and mix with the lemon juice.
  • Peel and dice the onion.
  • Peel, quarter and core apples and cut into small pieces.
  • Now we turn the fish in flour and shake off the excess flour well (otherwise it will burn in the pan). This is heated over medium heat. Brown the pieces of fish next to each other and take them out again.
  • Now put butter in the frying fat. First, steam the onions in it until translucent. We add 1 / 4L of water, add the apples, mustard, curry (and if you like, you can add raisins). Let the whole thing cook for a good 5 minutes.
  • In the meantime, I whisked the sour cream with the cornstarch. Now add this to the sauce and bring to the boil again.
  • Now add the fish again and the flaked almonds. Season to taste with salt and pepper and let it steep again briefly.
  • There was also rice and if you like, you can fry a banana in butter, which is dusted with a little salt and curry.
