Cod with leek from the oven

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g cod fillet(s)
  • 150 ml dry white wine
  • 3 large leeks
  • 250 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 50 g butter
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Wash the leeks thoroughly. Slice them into rings and sauté them in a pan in a little fat. Add the white wine, cream, salt, and pepper and sauté for about 5 minutes. Grease an ovenproof dish, place the fish in it, and pour the sauce over it. Sprinkle with cheese and breadcrumbs. Bake in the middle rack of an oven preheated to 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 1/2 hour. Serve with rice and a green salad.
