Cola Gummy Bears

The perfect cola gummy bears recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 ml Diet Coke or Zero
  • 7 leaf Gelatin
  • 1 Pck. Lemon jelly
  • 1 tsp Liquid sweetener
  1. Bring the cola to the boil briefly in a saucepan. Turn off the heat, pull the pan away briefly and dissolve the gelatine sheets in it while stirring. Then pull the pot back onto the hot plate and stir in the jelly powder and the sweetener. Stir until the powder has completely dissolved.
  2. Carefully skim off the foam formed by stirring with a spoon, pour the clear liquid into appropriate silicone molds and place in the refrigerator for a few hours. Ideal overnight.
  3. If there are no molds, pour the liquid into 1 – 2 (depends on the size) flat bowls lined with cling film. The thickness of the “rubber plate” created later from this should be approx. 5 mm. Put the bowls in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight. When the mass has set, turn it onto a smooth surface, peel off the foil and cut out motifs using small cookie cutters. Just nibble away the leftover remainder ……. 😉
  4. This little snack is also suitable for vegans if the gelatine is replaced with a suitable gelling agent. The amount to be used then has to be based on the vegan product and count against 7 gelatine sheets.
  5. The above quantity refers to a serving of 100 small gummy bears.
