Cold tomato and mozzarella toast

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of mozzarella
  • some cherry tomatoes
  • 4 slices of toast
  • 2 basil leaves
  • 1 dash of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Dice the cherry tomatoes and half of the mozzarella and place them in a bowl. Thinly slice the other half of the mozzarella and chop/finely chop the basil leaves. Toast 4 slices of toast. Add a drizzle of olive oil, balsamic vinegar (if desired), and the chopped basil leaves to the tomatoes and mozzarella and mix well. Place the toast slices on a plate and evenly cover with the mozzarella slices. Spread the tomato and mozzarella mixture on top.
