Ingredients for 50 servings:
- 3 heads of white cabbage
- 3 cups oil
- 3 cups vinegar
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 tsp salt
- 6 tsp mustard
- 2 tsp broth, granulated
- 2 tsp pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 30 minutes
Cut the cabbage into strips, wash, and place it in a bowl. Bring the oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, broth, mustard, and pepper to a boil and pour over the cabbage. Close the bowl tightly and let the cabbage steep for 24 hours, stirring occasionally.
