Colorful Pasta Bake with Sausages

The perfect colorful pasta bake with sausages recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Sausages / Bockwurst / Vienna sausages
  • 1 piece Red peppers
  • 70 g Canned corn kernels
  • 80 g Green frozen peas
  • 100 g Grated cheese
  • 200 ml Cream 30% fat
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 200 g Cream cheese with herbs
  • 70 g Freshly grated Parmesan
  • 1 Beaten egg
  • 1 Garlic cloves pressed
  • 1 pinch Freshly grated nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Slice the sausages and cut the peppers into pea-sized pieces. Cook the pasta until al dente according to the instructions on the packet. In the meantime prepare the sauce (step 2):
  2. Mix the cream, milk, processed cheese, Parmesan and garlic in a saucepan and heat slowly, stirring occasionally. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  3. Drain the pasta, mix with the sausages and the vegetables. Pour into a baking dish. Use a whisk to stir the egg into the hot sauce and immediately pour it over the casserole. Sprinkle with grated cheese (some also put some breadcrumbs and / or flakes of butter on top) and bake in the oven at 200 ° C for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy your meal!
