Colorful Pasta Bake with Sausages

for the sauce
- 200 g Sausages / Bockwurst / Vienna sausages
- 1 piece Red peppers
- 70 g Canned corn kernels
- 80 g Green frozen peas
- 100 g Grated cheese
- 200 ml Cream 30% fat
- 100 ml Milk
- 200 g Cream cheese with herbs
- 70 g Freshly grated Parmesan
- 1 Beaten egg
- 1 Garlic cloves pressed
- 1 pinch Freshly grated nutmeg
- Salt and pepper
- Slice the sausages and cut the peppers into pea-sized pieces. Cook the pasta until al dente according to the instructions on the packet. In the meantime prepare the sauce (step 2):
- Mix the cream, milk, processed cheese, Parmesan and garlic in a saucepan and heat slowly, stirring occasionally. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Drain the pasta, mix with the sausages and the vegetables. Pour into a baking dish. Use a whisk to stir the egg into the hot sauce and immediately pour it over the casserole. Sprinkle with grated cheese (some also put some breadcrumbs and / or flakes of butter on top) and bake in the oven at 200 ° C for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy your meal!
