Colorful pasta dough for cutting out

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp water, lukewarm
  • 3 tsp red pesto
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • 3 tsp green pesto

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 days 3 hours; Total time approx. 2 days 3 hours 45 minutes

with red and green pesto

Knead together flour, eggs, 2 tablespoons of lukewarm water, and salt until smooth. Divide the dough in half, knead the red pesto and tomato paste into one half, and the green pesto into the other half. Wrap in cling film and chill for 1-3 hours. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 1.5 mm and cut out shapes using any desired cookie cutter. Place on 5 floured kitchen towels and let dry for 1-2 days, turning several times during the process. If the dough is rolled out thicker, it will take longer to dry. Brush off any remaining flour. This makes a perfect gift—packaged in a cellophane bag.
