Colorful pork goulash

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork goulash
  • 3 bell peppers, colored, cut into strips
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 small can of pineapple, in pieces
  • 100 ml broth
  • 200 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 gherkins, diced
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • ½ bottle of chili sauce
  • 200 ml cream
  • Margarine or oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours

Brown the goulash in hot fat. Add the onions, garlic, bell peppers, and tomato paste and sauté over low heat for about 10 minutes. Add the broth, mushrooms, cucumbers, and drained pineapple. Then add the paprika, curry powder, and chili sauce and simmer, covered, for about 90 minutes. Once cooked, stir in the cream and serve. Serve with potatoes or rice.
