Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 450 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 300 g butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pack of flavoring (orange peel)

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Baking for Christmas

Place the ingredients in a bowl and mix with the dough hook of a hand mixer. Knead again with your hands until you have a smooth dough. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 60 to 90 minutes (depending on its firmness), but wrap it in aluminum foil first. Roll out the dough and cut out cookies of your choice using cookie cutters (note: the dough should not be thicker than 2 cm!). Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) (160°C fan-assisted) and bake the cookies for about 10-12 minutes. This makes about 30 cookies.
