Knead the dough ingredients thoroughly and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Roll out evenly on a floured surface and cut out various shapes. For double-deckers, cut out two different sized shapes. If necessary, simply use glasses of different sizes for cutting out the cookies. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes until golden brown. For double-deckers, let the cookies cool, then heat the jam in a small saucepan and put a dollop of jam on the large cookie, place the small cookie on top, and dust with a little powdered sugar.
