Cookie Dough Crème Brûlée

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 65 g butter
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla flavor
  • 65 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp chocolate, in pieces
  • 200 ml cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla flavor

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

For the cookie dough, mix together the butter and sugar. Add the milk and vanilla extract. Then stir in the flour, salt, and chocolate chips and evenly coat the bottoms of several ovenproof baking dishes (I made enough batter for 6). For the frosting, heat the cream (do not let it boil). Mix the egg yolks and sugar. Carefully stir in the cream and vanilla extract. Spread the frosting over the cookie dough. Bake in a water bath at 150°C for about 30 minutes, until the frosting has set (time may vary).
