Cookies: Cashew Kisses

The perfect cookies: cashew kisses recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 piece Protein
  • 350 g Whole cashew nuts
  • 150 g Powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 0,5 teaspoon Ground cardamom
  1. Put the egg white together with the pinch of salt and powdered sugar in the mixing bowl of the food processor and let it beat with the whisk at medium speed for about half an hour. Every now and then take a break so that the machine can take a breather and does not suffer a collapse.
  2. In the meantime, finely grind 250 g cashew nuts.
  3. As soon as the egg whites are really firm, add the ground nuts and cardamom and stir well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a piping bag and squirt small heaps onto a sheet lined with foil or paper. Split the remaining cashew nuts and place half a nut on each cup.
  5. Dry rather than bake in a preheated oven at 120 degrees circulating air for approx. 40 – 45 minutes. Close airtight after cooling.
