Corn semolina flammeri with strawberries

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 ml milk
  • 100 g corn semolina
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 tsp vanilla pod(s), including the pulp or Bourbon vanilla
  • 1 lemon(s), zest, grated
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 120 g strawberries
  • 4 tbsp cream, whipped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Combine the milk with the cornmeal and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Separate the eggs, then fold the egg yolks, vanilla, and lemon zest into the Flammeri. Beat the egg whites until stiff, mix with the honey, and fold in. Quarter the strawberries, place them on the Flammeri, and garnish with the whipped cream.
