Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 cup(s) desiccated coconut
- 4 cup(s) oatmeal
- 1 cup(s) sunflower seeds
- ½ cup(s) sesame seeds
- 1 cup(s) nuts
- 1 cup(s) honey or brown sugar
- ½ cup(s) oil
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- Grease for the trays
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Combine coconut flakes, oats, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and nuts in a large bowl. Combine honey or brown sugar, oil, and cinnamon and heat. Pour the honey mixture over the dry ingredients, mix thoroughly, and spread onto 1-2 greased baking sheets. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for about 30 minutes. Be sure to stir the granola frequently, as it can easily burn in the oven! Note: Use a 200-250 ml cup.
