Covered Baked Apple Cake

For the dough

  • 250 g Flour

  • 1 Egg
  • Salt, milk if necessary

For the filling

  • 5 Big apples

  • 2 tbsp Sliced ​​almonds
  • 50 ml Cream
  1. Knead all the ingredients of the dough quickly to form a ball. Wrap this in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
  2. Peel and quarter the apples, remove the core and cut across into thin slices. Put the sugar in a pan, let it caramelize (Caution! Burns quickly.) Add the apple slices, toss briefly. Now add all the other ingredients, finally the cream and let everything simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Let the mixture cool down a little.
