Crackers with smoked trout mousse

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 150 g smoked trout fillet(s)
  • 75 g crème fraîche
  • ½ cucumber(s)
  • Dill, fresh, 12 large crackers

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Break up the trout with a fork and stir in the crème fraîche. Cut the cucumber into 12 equal slices and place each on a cracker. Spread the fish mousse on top and garnish with dill. Serve as chilled as possible. Perhaps add a slice of tomato or red bell pepper to the crackers – it looks and tastes great. TIP: If you don’t like trout, you can use salmon or smoked mackerel, for example.
