Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 kg potatoes, raw, cut into 3 mm thick slices
  • 1 kg bratwurst (raw farmer’s bratwurst with or without paprika and garlic flavor)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Fried potatoes (Romanian dish)

Spread the peeled and sliced ​​potatoes on a baking sheet greased with margarine. Season the potatoes with salt to taste and top with a few walnut-sized margarine flakes. Preheat the oven to 250°C. Let the potatoes sizzle in the oven for about 30 minutes, then top with the bratwurst and bake everything for another 30 minutes at 220°C until golden brown. Serve with any salad. Prepare to be surprised! It tastes wonderful!
