Cranberry-Apple Crumble

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 apples
  • 50 g cranberries
  • 30 g wheat flour type 550
  • 30 g wholemeal flour fine or type 550
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 50 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon powder
  • 40 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with hazelnut crumbles

Wash, halve, core, and dice the apples. Knead the flour, sugar, hazelnuts, cinnamon, and butter (preferably softened or melted) into a crumble. Place the apples and cranberries in a casserole dish or small baking dishes and spoon the crumble over the top. Cooking time in shallow brulée dishes is 15-20 minutes. Baking in a larger dish will require more time.
