Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 onions, red
- 200 g brown sugar
- 100 ml balsamic vinegar
- 340 g cranberries, fresh
- 1 pinch of cardamom
- ½ tsp coriander
- 2 juniper berries
- ½ tsp rosemary, chopped, dried
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Finely chop the onions and fry. Add the sugar and let it caramelize briefly. Deglaze with the balsamic vinegar. Add the cranberries. Season with cardamom, coriander, juniper berries, rosemary, and salt. Boil everything until thickened. Pour the mixture into two screw-top jars (approx. 300 ml each) while still hot.
