Cream Cheese Bread Plait
The perfect cream cheese bread plait recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 ml Lukewarm water
- 50 g Butter half-fat – milk half-fat
- 250 g Cream cheese low in fat
- 500 g Spelled flour
- 2 tsp Brown sugar
- 2 tsp Herbal salt without flavor enhancers!
- 1 Pck. Dry yeast
- Put lukewarm water, butter and cream cheese in a bowl. Knead with flour and yeast, add sugar and salt and continue kneading everything with the kneading picks until you get a bound dough!
- I ALWAYS TAKE THE KNEDDING AND LEAVE THE BREAD MAKER! Let the dough rise for 45 minutes without a bread maker.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees!
- Knead the dough well again, divide and shape into three strands! Braid into a braid! Also works as a loaf of bread, of course! Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper! Let it go for another 20 minutes!
- Dust the braid again with a little flour and bake in the oven for about 40 minutes!
