Cream cheese Christmas tree

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 450 g cream cheese, room temperature
  • 250 g Gouda, grated
  • 40 g spring onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ bunch fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ½ bunch fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 bell pepper(s), orange
  • 15 g walnuts, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

With Gouda, paprika and fresh herbs

Mix the cream cheese with the Gouda, spring onions, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Then, using a piece of plastic wrap, shape the tree into a Christmas tree. Chill the cheese tree for 1 hour. Cut out three star-shaped peppers using three different sized cutters. Cut the leftovers into sticks for dipping. Place the cheese tree on a serving platter and cover completely with chopped parsley and basil. Then press the star peppers and walnut pieces into the tree as garlands. Place the star pepper on top of the tree. Drape the crackers and the remaining pepper sticks around the tree.
