Cream cheese pralines with herbs

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g sheep’s cheese
  • 100 g cottage cheese
  • 40 g pine nuts
  • 1 tsp herbs de Provence
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Pralines made from sheep’s cheese and cream cheese, spicy seasoned.

Finely grate the feta cheese, mix it with the cream cheese, and form the mixture into small praline balls. Moisten your hands with water if necessary to make the balls easier to roll. Finely chop the pine nuts and briefly toast them in a non-stick pan without adding any fat. Let them cool, then season with the herbs, salt, and pepper. For a spicier twist, add a little paprika or harissa to the breading. Then roll the cream cheese balls in the spiced coating and place them in paper baking cups or arrange them on a serving platter without using paper baking cups, garnishing them with green lettuce leaves, arugula, or chicory. Serve with small round slices of pumpernickel or black bread.
