Cream Cheese Thaler
The perfect cream cheese thaler recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 0,5 bunch Fresh parsley
- 0,5 bunch Fresh dill
- 1 Lemon untreated
- 350 g Cream cheese double cream setting
- 100 g Breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper
- 1 Msp Cayenne pepper
- 2 medium sized Eggs
- 100 g Flour
- 4 tbsp Oil
- Pluck parsley leaves and dill tips, chop finely. Finely grate lemon zest, squeeze 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Mix cream cheese in a bowl with approx. 35 g breadcrumbs, herbs, lemon zest and juice. Whisk the eggs in a deep plate. Put the flour and the remaining breadcrumbs each in a deep plate. Form the cream cheese mass with lightly floured 6-8 thalers. First turn thaler in the flour, then pull through the egg and bread in breadcrumbs. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the talers on each side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on kitchen paper. Serve lukewarm with a fresh salad.
