Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 50 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • Ladyfingers
  • 3 tbsp brown rum
  • Chocolate shavings
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • some coffee powder
  • some cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Whisk together the mascarpone, egg yolks, sugar, cinnamon, and a little rum. Beat the egg whites until stiff and carefully fold in. Line dessert bowls with the sponge fingers and drizzle with rum. Lightly sprinkle with coffee powder. Pour the cream mixture over the sponge fingers. Sprinkle thinly with cocoa powder. Decorate with the grated chocolate and refrigerate for a while to set.
