Cream-quark-cherry dessert

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 500 g quark
  • 1 jar morello cherries
  • n. B. sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 20 ladyfingers

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Super easy and super delicious

First, whip the cream with a mixer until stiff peaks form. Fold in the quark. Then add sugar, if desired. Drain the cherries in a sieve. Combine the cherry juice in a saucepan with the 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring with a whisk until the juice thickens. Then add the cherries and remove from the heat. Layer everything in a deep casserole dish: cream quark mixture – sponge fingers – cream quark mixture – sponge fingers – cream quark mixture – cherries. Let everything chill in the refrigerator for about 40-60 minutes.
