Cream sauce with bacon and mushrooms

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 shallot(s), finely diced
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely diced
  • 100 g smoked belly, finely diced
  • 200 g mushrooms, finely sliced
  • 400 ml cream
  • 2 tsp flour
  • Pepper, maybe some salt
  • 250 g pasta, (e.g.) spaghetti

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

very quick sauce for pasta

Fry the bacon. If it’s cooked, drain off some of the fat. Add the shallot and sauté briefly. Dust with flour and mix well. Add the garlic. Pour in the cream and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and add the mushrooms, simmer for 1 minute, and season with pepper (be careful with the salt). Meanwhile, cook the pasta, drain, and then add it to the sauce. Mix well and serve. You can add some spice by adding chili, and fresh chopped parsley for a bit of freshness.
