Cream semolina with strawberries

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 20 g corn semolina
  • 125 g quark
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • ⅛ liter cream, whipped
  • 250 g strawberries or other berries

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bring the milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cornmeal to a boil and stir until thickened. Chill. Then whip the cream and squeeze the lemon. Fold the quark, lemon, and whipped cream into the semolina. Then puree half of the strawberries and halve the other half. Scoop out the dumplings and arrange them on large plates with the strawberry puree and strawberry halves.
