Ingredients for 15 servings:

  • 125 g butter, room temperature
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), peel
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 375 g cream
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Beat the butter with a whisk until fluffy. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and grated lemon zest. Separate the eggs and add the egg yolks. Stir the flour and cream alternately into the cream. Beat the egg whites with the salt in a second, deep bowl until stiff peaks form, then fold into the batter. Bake the batter in the waffle iron.
