Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 125 g margarine
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 kg quark (low-fat quark)
  • 75 g semolina (soft wheat semolina)
  • 1 pack of sauce powder, vanilla
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • powdered sugar
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat electric oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Separate the eggs. Beat the margarine, 200g sugar, and egg yolks until frothy. Stir in the quark, semolina, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar until frothy and fold into the mixture. Line the bottom of a springform pan with baking paper and grease the sides. Pour in the batter. Bake the cake in the oven at 175 degrees Celsius for about 70 minutes.
