Creamy currywurst sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 bratwursts (Oberland style without skin)
  • 4 tbsp ketchup
  • 3 tbsp ajvar
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 4 tbsp vegetable broth
  • curry powder
  • some butter for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Slice the sausages and fry them in a nonstick pan with a little butter until crispy all over. Meanwhile, combine the remaining ingredients (without the curry powder) in a small saucepan and heat gently. If you prefer a thinner sauce, add a little more broth. Divide the sausage slices between two deep plates, pour the lukewarm sauce over them, and sprinkle with curry powder to taste. Serve with crispy bread rolls or fries.
